Sibel Loci, born on the 23rd of July 1977 in Brussels, was brought up in a family of leather clothing manufacturers. After having lived and worked in the European capital until 2013 she felt the urge to seek the sunny coasts where the colours are bright, the air is warm and where the landscapes would inspire her creativity.
After a few months of voyage she was swept off her feet by the south of Spain where she met the balmy Andalusian capital: Malaga.
At this point she hastily settled in with her sons and blended in by gaining Spanish as a fith language.
After her arrival she was soon overwhelmed with inspiration and started creating bags and accessories modelled on her image of sheer beauty, elegance and timelessness.
She then decided to open her own business and in order to help her create a range of high-end products she chooses to hire Spanish talents and use local materials from master leather craftsmen of the village of Ubrique for whom the manufacturing of leather has been a century-old art. By surrounding herself with the right people, with the help of her team and support of her family to accompany her meticulous and perfectionist passion for leather fashion, SLO is born to satisfy those inlove of glamour and simple beauty.
